About Us

Of course, people in Ukraine do not die of hunger, but by receiving Lifebox assistance, a family can for some time not spend its money on food and direct it to more necessary things. This is especially true for families who lost all their material possessions as a result of the Russian invasion.

Also, this way of helping with products removes many corruption risks, unlike direct monetary help.

Currently, our Lifebox project buys and delivers to Ukraine exclusively boxes with products for people who need it. Therefore, you can be sure that the funds you transfer will not be directed to the weapons market.

Reports on our activities are regularly published on our website, and you can also follow us on social networks. If you need detailed information, contact us. You will find contact information at the bottom of the page.

About us

Lifebox  project is comparatively young – it was launched in 2022, alongside Russian invasion in Ukraine. It became popular among the socially active youth – Lifebox has taken the lead from numerous social platforms and churches in Europe. Due to the project participants’ active cooperation, the social initiative has quickly grown into one of the important platforms within the framework of the international supportive assistance to Ukraine.

70 volunteers from Ukraine and the country of Europe were recruited to become a part of the Lifebox project. Every day, almost round-the-clock, volunteers are constantly working to save thousands of families from losing the minimum necessary to restore normal life. More than 10,000 food kits have already been handed over to IDPs throughout the country. 50 trucks with humanitarian cargo have been sent to Ukraine since the beginning of the year. These are tens of thousands of happy people with an optimistic view of a peaceful future.

The situation in the country

The Russian-Ukrainian war caused almost irreparable damage to the country. In the East and South of Ukraine, entire cities lie in ruins, leaving millions of citizens homeless and without means of livelihood.

Thanks to hard volunteer work and projects like ours, Ukraine is gradually being rebuilt. Every family that has lost their home and job has a real chance to start over.

Currently, there are more than 5 million IDPs in Ukraine. Not all of them need humanitarian aid, but the vast majority sooner or later turn to volunteers.

Even in the regime of constant tension due to hostilities, the Center, North and West of Ukraine became a new home for thousands of families. Limited financial resources force victims to pay less attention to the grocery side of life – and this is unacceptable, especially in the case of raising little children. Statistics speak of children under the age of 5 in every fifth IDP family. That is why the Lifebox project is so important – thanks to humanitarian aid, families have everything they need to restore the normal pace of life, and children can receive a complete list of important vitamins, macro- and microelements.

Model of assistance

The Lifebox project was created to help Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and includes the transfer of food kits for healthy diet to victims of hostilities in Eastern Ukraine. One set of Lifebox is enough for a week of proper nutrition, in addition, it contains the necessary minimum of personal hygiene products, such as toothpastes and shampoos.

The main collection points for humanitarian aid are located in European countries bordering Ukraine. Food kits are delivered to IDPs by project volunteers personally or with the involvement of local delivery services. Project managers work around the clock, almost without days off, so for additional information or if you want to become a project participant – call the number located on the website or let us know on social networks.

Warranties and useful information

The Lifebox project supplies only food and personal hygiene products. Everyone who transfers funds to charity has the right to check the model of providing charitable assistance – all details are available on the main page of the site. All important changes can be followed on the website of the Lifebox project, or on social networks – the link is available on the main page of the project.

The Lifebox humanitarian initiative will not stop providing support to Ukrainians until the very end of the war. As we all hope, the end of the brutal conflict is near.

You can contact project participants for consultation using the contacts provided on the website. Also, you can write to us on social networks. If you have a desire to support the project personally – for example, to provide transport, or your business can contribute to the expansion of the grocery basket – be sure to let us know. Together, we can help thousands of Ukrainians to restore the usual pace of life and get rid of the terrible haunting by the ghosts of the destructive armed conflict.
